Satsuma is our bundle of entrepreneurial joy!

We started this business to fill a need for conscious shoppers
looking for elegant and practical gifts for babies, kids and home. We
recognized that as parents and consumers we were responding
to the increase in environmental awareness in lots of different
products. We were both making purchasing decisions about how
'healthy', green and good for the environment different items were
- from cleaning products, to a new mattress, to thinking about a
hybrid for the next family car.

We realized that this growing sensitivity was really driven by
keeping our families healthy and happy. We saw an opportunity
to connect this growing consumer trend that we were both living
with products not only for our own family, but every family. That's
when Satsuma was born.
